Mark DiPisa

Mark A. DiPisa is a graduate of Seton Hall University School of Law and one of the founding members of DiPisa & Lago, LLC. He is admitted to practice law in the State of New Jersey and the United States District Court of New Jersey. Following law school, Mr. DiPisa served as a Judicial Clerk to the Honorable Richard J. Donohue, J.S.C., in the Civil Division of the Superior Court of New Jersey in Bergen County. Prior to founding DiPisa & Lago, LLC, Mr. DiPisa was an associate at major law firms where he litigated a variety of complex civil and criminal matters on behalf of public and private clients.

Known for his aggressive style, Mr. DiPisa has obtained significant results for many clients in both criminal and civil matters. He has successfully represented clients in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Federal Court and the Office of Administrative Law. He has also handled matters before the Civil Service Commission, the Public Employment Relations Commission and the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development. Mr. DiPisa has successfully defended governmental entities on a variety of legal claims including, but not limited to, discrimination, harassment, and contract disputes. He has also successfully litigated before the New Jersey Superior Court, Appellate Division. Mr. DiPisa’s experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants in civil matters has given him a unique advantage on how to advocate on behalf of his clients interests.

Mr. DiPisa has also served as a municipal public defender and appeared in many municipal courts throughout Bergen, Essex, Passaic, Hudson, Union, and Monmouth counties. Mr. DiPisa has successfully defended municipal clients in matters such as domestic violence, assault, terroristic threats, harassment, shoplifting, criminal mischief, trespassing, resisting arrest, and all motor vehicle offences, including but not limited to, driving while intoxicated.
